Wedding Mornings at The Beauty Co!

It was a bright and early start for Katelin and her maids here at The Beauty Co the morning of her wedding! The girls enjoyed muffins & mimosa’s in their robes in our beautiful girly space. We always love when a bridal party bring those happy wedding day vibes into the studio and we had a blast beautifying these lovely ladies!

Keep reading to hear more about the day and Katelin’s bridal hair and makeup.

The Bridal Look:

Makeup

Our artist, Yvonne created a classic bridal look that brought out Katelin’ s natural beauty. Stila cosmetics Stay-all-day Foundation & Concealer provided long-wear matte coverage for her complexion.

On the eyes, matte shades of cream and coffee were applied to create a soft smokey eye along with liner and lashes to make for definition. Yvonne considered not only what would suit Katelin’s complexion, but also the colour of her jewelry, flowers, and bridesmaids dresses. They decided on Glo Skin Beauty’s French Nude on the lips and Soleil blush.

Hair

Katelin’s request was for a low bun with a relaxed feel. To achieve this look Sarah used a hair doughnut to create a nice full shape for the bun and twisted individual curls back that create lovely texture.

A beautiful crystal hairpiece gave the updo a kiss of glamour. A few long tendrils were left out in front, keeping the look nice and soft. They opted to attach Katelin’s veil underneath the bun so it wouldn’t be hidden.

Flower factory were the creative genius’s behind the sunning bouquet filled with white peonies, pale pink & white roses, touches of dusty coral and pretty greenery! Ribbon and a beautiful rosary added the final touch wrapped around the steams.

The UBC rose gardens were the beautiful spot chosen for the couple portraits with Isle and Oak photography. Captured below, a gorgeous dress swoosh!

The Brock House Restaurant hosted the reception, where the couple headed down to the beach for stunning sunset shots!

Wishing K & J love & happiness!
