I couldn’t have chosen a better make-up artist for me, my mom, and my bridesmaids on my wedding day! Denise’s style was exactly what I wanted. During my consultation we chatted about the look of the wedding, my make-up style, and any preferences I had – with all this information Denise was able to do my make-up exactly as I wanted and I barely even felt as though I was wearing any make-up. The products she used were light yet they lasted all day without any touch-ups needed. Our photos turned out beautifully and we had endless compliments on our make-up all thanks to Denise’s ability to make us all look so great! I was also lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in another wedding where Denise was doing the make-up…I’m not going to lie I started getting used to looking so good and wouldn’t complain if she came to my house to do my make-up every morning :)

When my daughter turned thirteen, she was FINALLY allowed to wear makeup. I had been putting the makeup thing off as I had seen too many young girls with too much make up on. I decided to take an educated approach and had Denise Elliot come over to and teach my daughter and her friends how to apply makeup the RIGHT way. It was fantastic! Denise spent time with each girl individually to show them the best way to enhance their own natural beauty, the proper techniques and quality products. She took the time to answer questions and make everyone feel gorgeous! She even gave each girl some samples of products to try at home. It was a huge success! I can’t tell you how happy I am that Denise is the one who taught my daughter how to use makeup properly. My daughter is still having lots of fun with makeup, but she is keeping it natural and not overdone. She gets compliments all the time! I would highly recommend Denise Elliott. She did a great job!

Denise was fantastic! Her makeup selection was perfect, using quality products that made my face flawless. Even through all the wedding stress and tears, my makeup didn't smudge one bit! I also appreciated how accommodating she was for my trial day, as well as how prompt and professional she was on the wedding day. The last thing you want is a makeup artist who shows up late! I would absolutely recommend her for anyone's event. Best in Vancouver, in my opinion!

Denise was amazing to work in every aspect. She is professional yet friendly with a calming energy, she's punctual, a perfectionist, and most importantly, did an amazing job on my mom, bridesmaids, and of course, me! She also scheduled to do my consultation for my engagement photos which was fantastic - not only did I look 100 x better in my photos but I also had the opportunity to connect with Denise before the big day and discuss the "look" we were going for. I would recommend Denise for any style of photoshoot, as she is extremely flexible and creative! The best!

I'm not one to wear make-up every day, but wanted to learn how to get a natural coffee-date look. I was shown what to do from beginning to end and given an opportunity to practice on myself. There was NO PRESSURE to buy anything! In the end I felt confident and well prepared.

Szilvia consistently gives the highest quality men's cut I've ever gotten. I've lived in cities across the world and she is by far the most competent and skilled I've come across. Her vigilance and passion shines through. Her convo demeaner is great but she's all business when it comes to making a superior result. I was immediately intrigued on my first visit; she was using techniques I had never seen before. It compelled me to ask about her training... which was impressively comprehensive. It's also quite evident that she stays current and tries to grow in her skill, she really loves what she does and her clients all benefit. Highly recommend. I just hope she doesn't get so popular that I can't get any more time slots :D
