Jackie and Brett’s October wedding couldn’t have happened on a nicer day! The sun started coming out while we were getting the bridal party ready.
Jackie definitely nailed the vision and style she was going for! From the periwinkle bridesmaid dresses, to the beautiful floral arrangements (shades of ivory, soft pink and eggplant) to her elegant wedding dress, everything looked stunning! We had such a lovely time creating the different looks everyone was envisioning.
The ceremony and reception were held at Cecil Green, in my opinion you can’t get a better garden venue in Vancouver. Take a look below, photography by one of my favourites in town, Whitney Krutzfeld.
The Bridal Look:
Jackie’s main request was to have natural looking bridal makeup. She doesn’t wear much on a daily basis and it was important for her to still look and feel like herself once the makeup was applied. I created a look to make her green eyes stand out, using shades of mauve/plum shadows. Along with applying a medium coverage foundation creating a flawless canvas that would photograph beautifully. To finish off the look, I used a gorgeous soft beige/pink lipstick enhancing the natural colour of her lips. She’s a natural beauty, making my job pretty easy!
