Jane and Robin had a gorgeous romantic and rustic wedding in the serene setting of Whistler last summer! Their outdoor ceremony was set up beautifully capturing the spectacular mountains in the background.
It was a blast getting the girls all ready before walking down the aisle. Jane was such a sweet and calm bride. She has two sisters and one was making everyone laugh so much (Maria you know that’s you!), it was such a great stress-free morning for everyone! Lots of giggles happening 🙂 Nadia Bullock did an incredible job on everyones hair as well!
Consider we had never even met for a makeup trial, it really helped that Jane is such a natural beauty, so it was my job to enhance her look. Before we got started I asked what her vision was along with styles she likes and others, not so much. Her biggest concern was looking over-done and wanted to avoid wearing too much facial makeup.
To get the look she wanted I used a very light coverage foundation, taking time to blend it well, so it evened her skin perfectly while still looking like skin! After that I applied soft champagne and gold tones on her eyes, along with a rose pink for that extra pop on the cheeks!
I think we definitely achieved the look Jane was hoping for! Don’t you?
Congratulations Jane and Robin! It was wonderful working with you!
It was such a pleasure working with Brittany from Bash and Fete who did a fabulous job on the planning and design. Their memories were captured by one of my favourite photographers in the industry Ainsley Rose and second shooting by the wonderful Christie Graham…#dreamteam right here! The pretty flowers were done by a talented Squamish company Billies Flower House. Jane’s detailed lace dress was from the Dress Theory and designer Claire Pettibone.
