Lets jump right into today’s blog post featuring K & J’s North Shore wedding by the Pier. It was a rainy day but the couple was pure sunshine! We love the classic bridal hair and makeup Katrina went for created for her by our talented team.
Katrina’s day started here at the Beauty Co with her mom and sister by her side. Our team had fun getting them hair and makeup ready for the day. The it as a quick walk back down to the Pinnacle Pier Hotel on Lonsdale to get dressed!
Katrina’s fitted dress looked incredible on her. We loved the feminine details of the delicate floral lace climbing up a sheer panel at the neckline and back of the dress.
Bridal Look
Yvonne created a very classic, minimalist makeup look on Katrina that was clean and natural. Matte neutral shades on the lid and winged liner defined her eyes beautifully along with a naturally structured brow. For lipstick, the shade chosen mimicked Katrina’s own lip colour for a natural look.
Chelsea pulled Katrina’s hair into an elegant low bun with twists and tousled texture. This style showcased her pretty drop earrings and gorgeous neckline.
The couple definitely didn’t let a little rain put a damper on their day, or smiles!! The clear umbrellas are the perfect example of how to embrace the rain!
The couple exchanged vows at St. Edmund’s Parish surrounded by the people they love! We love all the magic moments between this gorgeous couple captured by The Godards Photography.
After the “I do’s” and some pictures, the party headed to The Polygon Gallery for the reception. Located right by the pier in the Lower Lonsdale area, The Polygon Gallery’s clean & contemporary design plus its amazing views of the city skyline, made the perfect choice for K & J!
The space was clean and white with pops of colour from the floral arrangements by Sam Solis Florist featuring plenty of greenery and pretty pink blooms. Bespoke Event Decor worked together with Smitten Events to transform the space.
As a sweet treat the couple had pies from Savary Island Pie Company, which look so delicious!!
