This Week for Wedding Wednesday we are featuring Gillian & Nick’s Brix Winter Wedding. Although it was a chilly December day here in Vancouver you never would have known just how cold it was from the beautiful photos captured by Erin Gilmore. We are so lucky to live and work in this beautiful city!
Gillian definitely had a clear vision of her dream wedding and with the help of a little planning by Monti at Coco Events Gillian’s dream came to reality!
Evan from Flowerz did a fabulous job on the flower arrangements and bouquets.
Gillian looked as if she was walking down the runway with her stunning Berta gown (from Blush) and incredible Valentino rock stud pumps.
The Bridal Look:
Gillian loves a bold and defined eye. Her one makeup request was to create a slight cat eye, which looked absoluetly amazing on her! I decided to keep soft neutral tones for her eyeshadow. To create the classic cat eye, I used my favourite black gel liner from Bobbi Brown. I used a gorgeous peach/pink blush to add some warmth to her skin. I decided to lightly contour to define her cheekbones even more.
A classic red lip (Stila stay all day) was no brainer to complement Gillian’s colour scheme. This was the perfect colour and formula to ensure the colour would hold all through the evening.
Erin (my senior hair stylist) did a truly amazing job on Gillian’s hair. The style was sleek with texture and VERY elegant! I love how Erin incorporated the soft braid within the intricate up do, it looked stunning.
