This week for wedding Wednesday we are featuring Amanda and Mike’s rooftop wedding at Science World. With all there closest family and friends around, Amanda and Mike sealed the deal! The vision of this intimate celebration came to life through the work of Vanessa at Dreamgroup Productions as well as the beautiful photos captured by Taryn Baxter.
The evening skyline couldn’t have been more perfect for these two (last photo of the post is amazing!!)
Amanda and I had met just a few months prior when we did her consultation for her engagement shoot and I couldn’t have been more confident we nailed the look! After seeing her classic lace gown and the soft white rose hair accessory in person I knew the look was going to look incredible on her.
The Bridal Look:
Amanda’s main request was for her eyes to stand out. This was a very doable request with Amanda’s honey brown eyes!
Complexion: For her complexion I started with one of my favourite primers from Stila to even out the skin tone. Next, using my go-to foundation (luminous silk from Armani) I created a medium coverage creating that airbrushed look. Using a matte bronzer from Bobbi Brown I lightly warmed up the skin, along with a soft highlight to enhance her cheek bones.
Eyes: We chose to create a gorgeous smokey bronze eye for Amanda. Tight liner is a must!! I used a black gel liner all along the lash line and waterline to make the lashes look thicker. A smokey eye wouldn’t look complete without a set of false lashes, which I applied a full mink strip which look amazing on her. For lips we used a soft pink lip colour and gloss to match since the eyes were our main focus 🙂
