Romantic Wedding at Private Residence

The rain that had been pouring all week came to a stop just in time for Danielle and Adams intimate June wedding. The striking grey clouds added the perfect soft filter for the stunning images captured by Twist & Shutter Photography. We love how the couple shared private vows beneath the willows before their ceremony in front of friends and family.

All the details we perfectly planned by the talented Smitten Events and the incredible florals by Florista are some of the most memorable we’ve ever seen! The family home was the ideal venue to host this special day.

Bridal Look

Our talented freelance artist Charlene created a natural and flattering makeup look for Danielle, being sure to play up her peaches and cream complexion and enhance her eyes with warm tones.

Skin prep is everything when it comes to a smooth foundation application. Charlene added deep hydration with a serum and a lightweight moisturizer to start. Eye cream helped to soothe the under eyes and Charlene finished her skin prep with a primer to even out tone and texture.

Charlene chose a lightweight foundation formula that would allow Danielle’s pretty freckles to shine through for a natural skin look.

A peachy rose lip was the perfect “her lips but better” colour! Blush with the same undertone was swept onto Danielle’s cheeks and up her high cheekbones.

Charlene knew filling in Danielle’s brows with eyeshadow to perfectly match her red hair would framed the entire face bringing the look together. A clear brow gel groomed every hair into place and kept her brows looking perfect all night long.

During her makeup trial, Danielle and Charlene discussed how she wanted her eyes to pop, but that she didn’t want anything overly glam or too dark. Charlene came up with a warm matte bronze eyeshadow look which contrasted beautifully with her blue eyes!

To finish the entire look and bring even more attention to the eyes, Charlene added some subtle fluttery individual lashes.
