Laura and Adam’s beautiful Victoria waterfront wedding is featured for wedding wednesday!
L & A tied the knot last June. They couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to spend with their family and friends. The weather was absolutely perfect for the backyard festivities. Friends and family flew in from all over the world including Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, England and the States.
With a small bridal party of 2 bridesmaids, Laura’s vision of light teal blue hue’s and fresh garden greens made for a beautiful palette. I love the long ribbon attached to the bridal bouquet by Platinum Floral Designs, this made for stunning photos captured by Ameris Photography.
Laura’s dress was from Blush Bridal, a luxury wedding gown store in Vancouver. The lace detailing and light chiffon skirt was perfect for a breezy waterfront ceremony. Plus, I’m absolutely in love with the detailed buttons up the back!
The Bridal look:
When you have naturally flawless freckled skin like Laura it is a must to go very light on the foundation! Laura’s look required fresh glowing skin and stand out eyes.
To achieve the look we started with a light foundation blended with one of my favourite products, Armani fluid sheer for her fresh dewy complexion. I then used a pink cream blush with a soft highlight just on top of the cheek bones. For lips we decided to keep the tone very natural with a hint of beige/pink lip to enhance her beautiful smile.
It was important to frame her face with a ash brown coloured brow powder to fill in the natural shape. Last but not least we sculpted the eyes with a taupe shadow on the lid and into the crease, followed by a bold black gel liner softly smudged blending any sharp edges.
Caitlin Merryfield did a fantastic job on all the ladies hair included Laura’s beautiful fishtail braid!
Congratulations L & A!
