Understated wedding inspiration by the sea!
This week for Wedding Wednesday we are switching things up slightly and featuring a gorgeous styled shoot! This shoot was for one of Christie Graham’s Workshop’s and my team member Sarah had the pleasure being a part of this. With our stunning model Lotta, and Christie Graham behind the lens this was definitely a gorgeous collaboration!
Christie’s vision for this workshop was all about feeling raw and undone. Sarah translated this flawlessly.
Our city has so many beautiful backdrops, especially with this ocean setting!
The abundance of warm florals by Celsia florist were paired beautifully with the groom’s suit and Lotta’s Rue de Seine lace gown from Union Bridal boutique.
The Bridal Look:
Sarah started with an illuminating primer to smooth out the complexion. Followed by a small amount of Armani foundation buffed into the skin for a lighter finish.
Using a light mauve eye shadow, Sarah blended on the lower lid and into the crease. She then used a champagne colour close to the lash line and in the inner corner of the eye. This kept Lotta’s eyes bright while adding a dark brown shadow on the lower and upper lash line.
Sarah completed the look with a soft pink cream blush blended from the apples of the cheeks back to the hair line and a neutral lip colour to create a flushed look.
There’s something so comforting and raw about getting married by the ocean. The cool sand in between your toes with the calming sound of the waves crashing, sounds like a spa experience to me!
We were thrilled to see this recently featured on Joywed!
