I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s day! This Wedding Wednesday we are keeping the romance going with this stunning September Kelowna wedding at Bottega. It was a warm, yet rainy September day for C & B to say there I do’s!
As I scroll through these images I am reminded at how difficult it is to choose the best ones when Shari & Mike are behind the lens. The venue was transformed by the epic planning and execution of Corinne from Filosophi. You can really see how much detail was put into C&B’s big day. It was such a fun day getting all the ladies ready and the bridal party was so lovely to work with!
The grounds of Bottega are lush with greenery and embody some of BC’s natural beauty including a running alpaca farm! The addition of neutral yet lavish flowers by A New Leaf made for the most perfect ambiance.
My senior hair stylist Christina and I had the pleasure of meeting Cathryn months prior for their engagement shoot. Cathryn has the sweetest personality and one of the most contagious smiles, we instantly clicked! Cathryn was comfortable enough to leave the vision in our hands but requested to look elegant and timeless. Exactly what we like to hear. We were also lucky enough to beautify Cathryn and her mother for the rehearsal dinner the day before!
The Bridal Look:
Complexion: Stila one step correct primer to even out the skin tone with Stila stay all day foundation all over. Finishing with Laura Mercier translucent powder to set the foundation and ensure a long wear!
Cheek & Lip: Stila cream blush in camellia with Bobbi Brown bronze shimmer brick. This complimented lip crayon by Glo Minerals we used for her lips!
Eyes: Paul & Joe 02 eye shadow primer swept from lash line to brow bone for to hold eyeshadow all day. Next, I applied Glo Minerals shadow stick in “keepsake” all over the lower lid blending into the crease. Stila kitten was applied in the inner corner to brighten her eyes. To complete Cathryn’s look I applied the Bobbi Brown gel liner from inner to outer corner. We finished off the look adding individual lashes to make her eyes pop!
