This quick morning makeup routine tutorial is for you if you don’t like to spend much time on your makeup in the morning or maybe you’d rather hit the snooze button for an extra 10 minutes. In this step-by-step tutorial I will teach you how to apply what you need and how to do it, in minutes.
These simple (and quick) steps focus on creating a polished, clean look with a focus on bright lips and neutral eye shadow colour.
Step 1: Eyes
Use a cream shadow stick. Applying is super easy and lasts all day. Apply the shadow stick from the lash line to the crease. Use your fingers after to blend.
Next use a pencil eyeliner to line the top of your eye, applying right at the root of the lash line will make your lashes look thicker. Then, curl the lashes and apply mascara. (This step should take two minute max!)
Step 2: Concealer/Foundation/Powder
Dab the concealer from the inner corner of your nose to the outer corner of eye. Blend with the brush.
Apply your foundation from the centre of the face (nose, cheeks, forehead) and then blend outwards.
Use a pressed powder to set the liquid foundation. Apply the powder with a brush and press the brush into the skin instead of sweeping motion. This will help the foundation stay on all day.
Step 3: Lips
Use a bright colour! This will make you feel wide awake and ready to start your day, especially since you are tight for time. I decided to use the Glo Mineral Suede Matte Crayon in Sorbet (this colour is my favourite right now!) and it stays on EXTREMELY well. They come in many other colours as well if you decide on a different tone.
