Quick and Simple Makeover

Hope everyone has had a great holiday with your family and friends! We’ve been very busy setting up for our store opening, which opened today! You will have to come by and see our beautiful new space 🙂

This tutorial we are featuring a quick and simple makeover. Whether it’s just for everyday or maybe it’s perfect for a low key New Years Eve event your attending. If you are tight for time or just trying to look extra special for your special event, take a few minutes to read below!

Quick and Simple Makeover

Step 1

Creating the perfect sultry smokey eye should be very simple! As you can see the complexion is complete, please check out our foundation post for tips.

This step will use only 2 shades of eye shadow to create depth and highlight from the Stila Soul Palette. First, apply the eye shadow (vitality) the champagne colour over the lower lid blending right into the inner corner. Then, using a blender brush take (peace) the medium smokey brown eye shadow and start blending on the outer corner of the eye bringing it softly into the crease.

Step 2

For this step I am using one of my favourite eye liner products, Stila smudge pot.

With this pigmented liner you want to start with a fine point brush and connect the dots along the upper and lower lash line, going corner to corner. Once complete take a thicker liner brush and start smudging out both the top and bottom to create this smokey effect. With the excess product on the brush, line the water line for a more stand out eye.

Step 3

Picking the perfect lip shade!

It’s always nice to have a perfectly berry stained lip, however the downside is having it stay! Instead of touching up all night try one of these Stila Stay all day lip colours. They are amazing!

Both pigmented and smooth.

Voila…Quick and Simple Makeover!

With the colder weather it’s crucial to keep your skin hydrated! Be sure to check out our skin prep post

Happy New Year!
