Glo Minerals has launched a gorgeous new collection of cream shadow sticks for Fall. They’re currently my go-to eye shadow, especially if your crunched for mirror time in the morning!
In this tutorial with my dear friend Lauren of Party Skirts, I will show you how to achieve a quick and simple eye that you can pull together in minutes. Since the cream shadow sticks are not only your primer but also your eyeshadow this is a quick way to get your day going.
Below you will see I am using my favourite shade at the moment, keepsake. The perfect light bronze!
Step 1.
Draw the stick directly onto the eye lid and blend across until enough product is applied.
Step 2.
Using your index finger or a small brush, blend any rough edges before it fully sets. If you don’t have a brush on hand, the warmth of your fingers is a great way to achieve an even application of this product on the eye and will give you a bit more time to blend before the creamy texture fully dries!
*If you feel the need to amp it up a bit you can grab one of the darker shades like “concord” or “metro” and
blend directly into the outer corners. This will create a smokey effect.*
Step 3.
To finish off the eyes. I’ve curled the lashes with a Bobbi Brown eye lash curler. Lastly, added two coats of mascara to make the eyes pop!
These cream shadow sticks are both long wearing and rich in pigment to ensure all day wear. The creamy texture allows you to blend on the eye lid before it fully sets. Check out the full collection here!
