Fall Orthodox Wedding

It’s Wedding Wednesday! This week we are featuring our very own senior artist & studio manager, Emily’s wedding last fall.

Emily & I have been working together for 8 years now and it was nothing short of a dream to be apart of her big day! The team Emily and Zarko hired for their wedding day were some of the best in the biz. With planning by Filosophi, photography captured by Shari & Mike and decor by Melissa at Cahoots it was pure magic!

The Bridal Look:

With both myself and my team members beautifying the bridal party, Emily took her bridal look into her own hands. It gave her a bit of alone time to take in all the excitement! Her inspiration for the look was a bold smokey eye with a soft peachy pink cheek and lip.

Complexion: Emily started with an illuminating primer and her fav Armani foundation for even luminous coverage. She then set the foundation with a Bobbi Brown oil free setting powder for long wear.

Cheeks & Lips: For a bronzed complexion, Emily used the Stila bronzer and sweet shimmer blush from Glo MineralsShe finished with a dusting of bronze shimmer brick.

Eyes: With the Paul & Joe eye primer as her base, Emily blended taupe shadow on her lower lid and into the crease. Next, she added a beige/champange shadow at the inner corner of the eye. Emily has always loved a bold liner, she created a soft wing using the black gel liner. Then, softly smudged the liner in the outer corner using a dark brown shadow. For the final touch she added a set of luxe mink lashes!

After numerous weddings of all different cultures it was very unique and special to witness a traditional Serbian Orthodox ceremony. Can we talk about these crowns?

With a neutral colour palette and a pop of Burgundy in the bouquets by the Flower Collective, this added a fall vibe to the decor!

Love,

Denise Elliott
