Elegant & Vintage Bridal Shoot!

Welcome back to the blog! This week we are featuring some bridal inspo with a vintage autumn/winter vibe 😉

Planning and style coordination of this shoot is all thanks to Diana Choi with The Lovliest Day Events.

Deep burgundy, purple, and bronze tones were used in the floral bouquets to add dimension to the blush and nude tones used to accent the bride. Florals were beautifully crafted by Da Fiori Design for this shoot.

To create a nostalgic vintage vibe, teardrop pearls and grained photo effects were used to encompass the essence of the late 40’s.

Photography was beautifully captured by the oh-so talented Mattie C. Photography.

Bridal Look:

Our talented Senior Stylist Josie kept the bride’s hair a bit more modern to balance the theme of this shoot. A sleek and polished pony was chosen to show off Caitlyn’s stunning features. For the makeup, our Senior Artist Zoe decided to keep things simple to again showcase C’s effortless beauty. Light shading around the eyes and a clean black liner with a set of soft lashes was all that was needed to bring the look together. Paired with glowing skin and a soft pink gloss, this look is perfect for any bride-to-be.

This stunning beaded gown from Bisou Bridal was chosen to complete the vintage vibes we were channeling. Such an eye-catching dress is well paired with the simplicity of C’s look and also compliments the various textures in the floral bouquet so well.

To make for perfect lighting and endless set opportunities, the Pipe Shop was chosen to be the venue for this shoot.

Keeping with the timeless theme, a stunning sapphire adorned C’s finger to bring Titanic Era feels to this set. The beaded bodess of the gown paired perfectly with the set of jewels chosen for this look!

Special thanks to all parties involved in bringing this set to life, especially Caitlyn & Todd (our real life beautiful couple of 10 years)!

We hope you walk away with some bridal inspo, and at the very least, a bit of royal nostalgia 😉

xoxo,

Denise Elliott
