Wedding at Sea Cider

Welcome back to Wedding Wednesday, where we will be sharing James & Emma’s beautiful wedding at Sea Cider Farm! We headed out to Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island to get Emma and her maids beautified and ready for the big day. Keep reading for the beauty breakdown!

The Bridal Look

Our senior makeup and hair stylist, Sarah had the absolute pleasure of creating a bridal look for lovely Emma! A minimal and subtle approach was Emma’s request for her hair and makeup which went nicely with her simple dress and beautiful cathedral veil.

Her fair complexion and features were taken into account when choosing soft pink blush and light tan tones for her eyes. Emma’s natural lip colour is a gorgeous deep pinky rose, so a soft pink gloss was all she needed to enhance her pout! Ultra thin black gel liner and a sprinkle of individual lashes gently defined her blue eyes.

Sarah added soft texture to Emma’s beautiful red hair and pinned the front pieces elegantly behind her ears.

The couple chose a gorgeous spot among the trees to share their vows, with their adorable pup Rosie by their side. We love the drama that the natural surroundings give to the ceremony spot, with two big cider barrels acting as an alter. Friends and family watched on from simple wooden benches during the intimate ceremony.

Rook & Rose provided the pretty floral decor and bouquets.

The celebration continued at Sea Cider Farm and Cider House, a farm-based cidery located on the Saanich Peninsula just minutes from Victoria, on Vancouver Island. Photos were captured by the talented Christine Pienaar!

Congratulations to the happy couple!
