Okanagan Winery Wedding! This Wedding Wednesday we are so excited to be featuring my dear friend Ashley’s big day at Painted Rock Winery! I was lucky enough to not only attend this wedding in Penticton but also spend the morning beautifying Ashley, her lovely maids and mother. It came as no surprise that A&J’s special day was recently featured on Once Wed!
With a neutral palette of white, green & champagne the elegance of this day translated perfectly, especially with Christie Graham behind the lens.
With a dream team from Created Lovely Events and A New Leaf floral, they were able to add the perfect touches to this already stunning venue. Can we talk about the backdrop of Skaha Lake!
The Bridal Look:
I have had the pleasure of creating a variety of looks on Ashley for the lead up of her wedding. It was clear for her big day we would keep things elegant and polished!
I started with an illuminating primer to help give a nice radiant glow to her skin. Then using one of my favourite foundations blended naturally into her skin with a finishing powder on top to set the makeup.
For eye shadow I used beige/bronze tones to compliment her fair complexion and colour scheme. Using a bold black liner along with a set of luxe mink lashes to finish off the eyes! We chose a light bronze/pink tone for Ashley’s lips and cheeks to create warmth and a natural flush.
One of my senior hair stylists Christina did an amazing job on all the girls hair. Ashley’s choice for effortless curls created the perfect portrait with her veil and gown!
