Romantic Okanagan Lakehouse Wedding

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

For today’s post we are sharing the wedding celebration of Lauren & Nick. Held at the Mackie Lake House, this venue was perfect for this summer day and so scenic overlooking the beautiful lake. Keep reading below for the beauty breakdown on Lauren’s bridal look and to see more photos of this blossoming romance!

BRIDAL LOOK

Owner and founder Denise, created this elegant makeup look for our lovely bride Lauren. Denise emphasized Lauren’s natural features with a stand out eye and a soft cheek & lip. To even out Lauren’s complexion Denise used a lightweight foundation, followed with a correcting concealer under the eyes, and finished with a sheer setting powder. A soft peachy-pink was used for blush that complimented her gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Bronzer was lightly applied to the contours of her face to give her that sun-kissed glow.

Denise focused on using soft earth tone shades on Lauren’s eyes. Denise used her go-to creamy eye-shadow stick, Keepsake, as a base colour on Lauren’s lid. To create a smokey romantic look a velvet brown-bronze shade was used in the outer corner and blended into the crease of the eye. Denise then applied black eyeliner to Lauren’s lash line along with our sultry lashes. To complete the overall look, Denise used a long-wearing liquid lipstick in a sheer neutral pink shade.

Alicia, one of our senior hair stylists, created soft and sleek waves on Lauren’s hair for her big day. Using a body building hair spray for volume and bounce, along with Living Proof instant de-frizzer to prevent any flyaways, Alicia perfected Lauren’s natural wave! This hairstyle fit perfectly with the gorgeous headpiece Lauren wore.
