Rodial Makeup Products

TGIF! Excited to share another fabulous makeup line called Rodial. Rodial Makeup, was originally only available in the UK but good news! They’ve now brought it to Canada! I started trying the powders and brushes a few weeks back and have had some time to experiment with their quality and staying power. Take a look at my full review below and the stunning packaging as well.

Instaglam Deluxe Compacts

Compacts include: Translucent, Contour and Bronzer

All three compacts have an extremely smooth texture. The quality of the product is very fine and blends nicely into the skin making it look as natural as possible.

Instaglam Translucent Compact:

If you’re in the market for a new translucent pressed powder this is definitely worth the money! Apply the translucent compact as your last step in your morning makeup routine. This will set the makeup perfectly, leaving a matte finish on the skin. It’s great to take in your purse to fix any shine problems throughout the day or night.

Instaglam Contour Compact:

This is by far the best contour shade to suit all skin tones. The product is meant to create an illusion of more defined cheekbones, defined jawline and slimming of the nose or forehead by creating specific shadows where needed.  For example, if you want to make the nose look shorter contour your nose in a “V” shape or if you wanted to make the forehead look slimmer you can contour around the hairline and the temples.

 Helpful Tips:

1. Using a contour powder will give a more natural look rather than cream contour products which tend to look heavier on the skin.

2. Create the contour right under the cheek bones.

3. Use contour brush (shaped with an angle to blend and create the shadows needed)

Instaglam Bronzer Compact:

Perfect to use for all skin tones, this product will give a natural sun-kissed glow. It’s matte (which is my favourite, no shimmer!!) and warms up the skin perfectly.

Apply: Around the top of hair line, down the side of your temples, bring it underneath your cheekbones and blending down the neck area.

 Brushes:

These brushes have amazing quality hair and are extremely soft. They will be an investment, but you will have them for many years.

Powder Brush: Use with Translucent compact

Sculpting Brush: Use with contour compact

Eye Sculpt Brush: Use with eyeshadow or with translucent compact powder to set the under eye area
