This week for Wedding Wednesday we are taking it back two years ago with Brittany & Ravi’s Rockwater Secret Cove wedding. This venue is one of our favourites with the best ceremony setting in BC! This was beautifully planned by the talented ladies at Spread Love Events. We were also lucky enough to work alongside Amber Hughes to capture Brittany’s vision & beauty on this day.
The morning started with Brittany, her bridesmaids and mother getting beautified by our team. Myself and Christina (one of my senior hair stylists) were all set up in one of the remote luxury tents right above the water amongst all the trees. Talk about scenery!
Christina did a beautiful job of Brittany’s hair giving her exactly what she requested, an effortless half up do incorporated with a braid.
The Bridal Makeup Look:
With Brittany’s piercing blue eyes it was a no brainer which colour palette and tones to use on her eyes cheeks and lips. Brittany was comfortable with trying whatever I suggested and trusted I would make her look her absolute best! For her eyes, we chose a champagne rose colour swept all over the lower lid with a taupe shadow contoured in her crease to create a more sculpted look. We then finished off the eyes with a black gel liner right at the lash line and softly smudged shadow on top and on the lower lash line to create more intensity.
Brittany already has a great shape to her brows so we used an ash brown powder just to fill in where needed. Since her eyes were our main focus, I kept it soft and simple on the cheek and lips. Using one of our favourite Armani lipsticks in 506 & Bobbi Brown petal gloss to match her coral pink colour scheme.
We couldn’t have been happier with her final look, especially seeing her dressed in her elegant gown from Bisou Bridal.
