Femme Floral Beauty

Denise Elliott Beauty Co. had the pleasure of working on this majestic project with Kim Maru of Maru Photography. The vision for this shoot was a long time dream for Kim of femininity through innovative floral design. The Beauty shoot was located at The Wallace in Lower Lonsdale. With modern industrial design, this was the perfect place to capture this creation.

Look #1

Owner and Founder Denise, created the makeup look for both models. The first look was all about soft pink hues to compliment the pastel tones of the florals. To start, Denise used prelude cream eyeshadow on the lid, adding a soft pink shimmer, then followed with a champagne tone on the inner corner of the eye for brightness. A polished brow was brushed on using a brow pen along with a light coat of our go to black mascara. To ensure an even complexion skin tone she applied a correcting primer along with a photo finish foundation using a beauty blender. To complete the first look Denise swept a rosy pink blush along the cheek bones and added a lip enhancing gloss to bring out the blush undertones of the models lips.

Our hair stylist Shelley, created naturally tossed finger waves that added bounce and volume to each look.

Look #2

Denise began by brightening the shadow tones on the eyelid to pair with the fuchsia and lilac florals in the second look. She used a violet tone lip colour for one model and a fuchsia pink lip colour for the other for a perfect pairing!

Shelley placed miniature daisies throughout the first models hair to add a flowy texture and incorporate the softness of the florals.

For the final look, Denise deepened the first models lip tone and added a winged eye liner to pair with the richer and brighter colour palette of the florals. She complemented the look with a few flower petals added to the models cheek bone and shoulder creating a true comparison to the femininity in florals.
