One of our signature hair looks is “the coolest pony” and we want to show you how you can achieve this style at home!
Follow along below to learn the easy steps for how to get the perfect ponytail.
Products you need:
- Milkshake Dry Shampoo*
- Evo Shebang-a-bang*
- Tail Comb
- Clear elastic
- 2 bobby bins (closest to hair colour)
- Evo Haze Styling Powder*
* get it in the shop!
Step 1:
After you have loosely curled your hair, add Evo Haze Styling Powder to horizontal sections at the crown, back combing those sections moving towards the top of the head depending on how much volume you want. If you want your part showing, sprinkle the styling powder on the sides of your head in sections.
Step 2:
After back combing, smooth out the hair by lightly combing through around the top, comb through your curls lightly to make them softer. Gather hair and pull it all in a pony at the desired height you want, using a comb or brush. Use a thin clear elastic to tie it (this makes it easier to hide when wrapping the hair strand around).
Once the hair is in a pony, use your fingers or the tail part of a tail comb to pull the hair on the top to get the desired height.
Step 3:
Take a piece of hair from the bottom, underneath the pony, wrap it around the elastic, pin it with a bobby pin where the strand ends and into the pony tail towards the scalp to hide the bobby pin as much as possible.
Step 4:
Back comb the hair that is in the pony to the desired fullness. Then finish with a medium hold hair spray all over.
And there you have it, the perfect pony!
