Betty and Shawn’s wedding at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was nothing short of perfection. From a ceremony in the ballroom to rooftop city views, Koncept Events brought their vision to life. Elegant florals with subtle pops of pink were the spectacular finishing touch on this beautiful day.
The Makeup
Betty wanted a look that was timeless and classic, our artist Kahlia brought that dream to life and them some with the perfect pink pout. To prep and prime the skin Kahlia started with the Glo Skin Beauty Flower Mist Toner and the Stila One Step Correct primer. This duo makes the skin fresh and dewy while covering any unevenness and creating a flawless base. Once the skin was ready, it was time for foundation. To continue with a natural dew, the Glo Skin Beauty Luminous Foundation in Linen was applied then set with the Luminous Setting Powder. To ensure the most natural skin was achieved, the Stila Convertible Cream Blush in the Shade Camellia and the Glo Skin Beauty HD Mineral Foundation Stick in Buff were softly blended out onto the cheeks. Betty’s brows are naturally full so the Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Brow Fixer Gel in Deep Blonde was applied to add structure and colour. For the eyes, the Glo Skin Beauty Velvets Shadow Palette created a soft glam with cream and taupe shades, then the dark brown acted as a liner and was smudged out into the outer corner to create depth. To keep with the soft feel, Betty went with her natural lash embellished with the Stila Huge Waterproof Mascara. To finalize the look, Kahlia created the perfect pink lip using the Glo Skin Beauty Lipstick in the shade Pillow Talk.
