Happy New Year’s Eve! I hope everyone is getting excited to celebrate tonight. For this tutorial I created a super quick, subtle smokey eye with a pop of glitter on the eyes!
Step 1:
Apply a base to the eyes. This will hold the eyeshadow making it last longer and become crease-proof.
I used a cream eyeshadow stick from Bobbi brown (colour: sand dunes) as my base because it holds the powder eyeshadow once it’s applied and creates more depth to the eye. Bobbi Brown’s eyeshadow has that soft shimmer which will look great for New Year’s.
Step 2:
Using the Stila, eyes are the window shadow palette in body lightly brush the medium purple tone right on the lid of the eye to the crease of the eye. Next, add the lighter white/champagne colour towards the inner corner of the eye as this will brighten the eye.
Step 3:
Using the darker eggplant eye shadow blend to the outer corner sweeping into the crease.
Step 4:
To add a bit of drama to your eyes line both your lower and upper lash liner with a dark brown liner. This will really make your eyes pop! To complete the final look, apply two to three layers of mascara to add fullness to your lashes.
To create this look, I used the following products:
