This week for Wedding Wednesday we are featuring Maria and Nick’s Vancouver Club Wedding. This venue could not have been more perfect for this sophisticated couple!
The timeless beauty that Maria portrays through her wedding day was planned and executed beautifully by Jill at Dreamgroup productions. The overflowing florals of white and greenery with hints of pink and purple pastel hues were put together by Granville Island Florist.
Maria incorporated a personal touch from her heritage with a surprised dance performed with herself and Karen Flamenco Dance Company .
The Bridal Look:
Maria and I had met a few months prior to her wedding when she came in to my studio for her consultation. I immediately felt inspired to enhance her classic look with some spanish flare!
We both agreed the most eye catching look for her would be a defined black liner with soft, neutral contour in her crease and a bold cherry lip!
With the face makeup, I first used a illuminating primer to give more radiance to the skin and help the longevity of the foundation throughout the day. Next, I used my favourite foundation by blending a medium coverage creating a flawless finish to her glowing skin. I used a light oil free setting powder to make sure her skin stayed fresh all day!
Christina (one of our senior hair stylist) did a fabulous job on Maria’s hair. Maria has gorgeous long hair to begin with and the soft curls Christina created tied in perfectly with the romantic, latina style!
Maria has the most sincere and contagious smile. These images couldn’t have portrayed that in a more perfect way, amazing job by Christine Pienaar on capturing all the natural beauty!
