Skincare Products:

The change in humidity or dryness can be hard on the skin, especially if your heading to a hot climate. The most important is to keep your skin nourished and you’ll be feeling fresh and pretty all weekend long 🙂

1. Moisturizer – Pick a moisturizer thats light. Toners, serums, oils and treatments can be cast aside for a few days – not moisturizer! Pick one that is light enough for the day, but rich enough for the night. I popped my Zo skin daily defense anti aging moisturizer into my travel bag!

2. Makeup wipes – The perfect product for a weekend away. These Kaia cleansing cloths come in single packets making it super easy to slip into your travel bag. These are an oil based cleansing cloth filled with vitamins and organic ingredients to remove all excess dirt and oil trapped in our skin. You can even use them to remove all your eye makeup as well!

3.  Mascara – If you need one product for the eyes while travelling it’s a waterproof mascara, like the Stila Stay all day  volumizing mascara! This is perfect for a sunny weekend away.

4. Blush – If you are on a long flight your complexion is bound to get a little dull. This Bobbi Brown pale pink blush provides that instant pop of colour to awaken the skin and quickly amp up your makeup.

5. Brows – Lets face it, who wants to leave the house without there brows on! After all, they are the main attribute that frames the face. The Bobbi Brown brow powder  gives a natural, smooth look and quick application.

6. Bronzer- Bronzer is the best way to add colour to the face and neck without having to soak in the sun. This Cargo bronzer is light reflective and fine powdered for a natural glow. We like to be extra careful about sun exposure due to the damage it can do on our skin.

7. Foundation- A little foundation can make a huge difference with evening out your complexion. Foundation is one of my staples and a must in your makeup bag. My personal favourite is Armani luminous silk foundation which creates a light flawless complexion with build able coverage.

8. Lips – When travelling you can never have too many lipsticks. Especially for those minimal makeup days, a pop of colour on the lips can make a huge difference. These Glo Minerals lip crayons provide long wearing colours with intense pigment and a velvety smooth finish. These have been a favourite of mine for a while now!

Miscellaneous:

9. Rollerball Perfume – There’s nothing worse than leaving for a vacation without your signature fragrance! This “Flowerbomb roller perfume slips right into my travel bag perfectly.

10. Dry Shampoo – Who wants to be washing your hair over the long weekend?? (not me!). Dry shampoo has been a lifesaver! Spray a little Batiste into your day (or two) old hair right at the root, this will absorb any oil and instantly freshen the hair. Batiste travel size dry shampoo is the best.

Happy long weekend friends!
