Stanley Park Pavilion Wedding

Happy Wedding Wednesday! We apologize for our short hiatus as we are in full swing of wedding season over here! This week we are featuring M&J’s stunning wedding at the Stanley Park Pavilion last fall.

This venue holds so much character to Vancouver and showcases some of the most elegant weddings which you will see below!

Can we talk about the Jimmy Choo white wedding shoes!  A very classic touch to Maya’s overall bridal look.

The Bridal Look:

My talented team members, Sarah and Sam had the pleasure of meeting Maya a few months prior for her consultation and were able to solidify the perfect bridal look. Maya requested an understated glam look with a sleek chiffon bun. My senior hair stylist Sam used all her best tricks to create this lasting hold in Maya’s thick long hair!

Complexion: The one step colour correcting primer from Stila was used to prep the skin. The always flawless Armani luminous silk foundation created the perfect medium coverage. Complexion was finished with the Glo minerals perfecting powder to control oil and shine.

Cheek & Lips: Rosebud blush from Glo minerals to warm up Maya’s cheeks and highlight her cheek bones. This complimented the raspberry pink lip colour colour 205 from Paul & Joe.

Eyes: Paul & Joe eyelid primer from the lash line to brow bone was applied. Next, Sarah used the Stila soul palette. The bronze shadow was used for the contour/crease area and to brighten the eyes a dust of the champagne tone was applied in the inner area. The matte dark brown shadow was blended on Maya’s bottom lash line to soften the look. Stila stay all day liquid liner created the perfect cat eye complimented with a full set of luxe lashes!

With a crisp black, white and gold colour scheme it was no surprise Aly Armstrong planned and executed decor to M&J’s every request! With Melia Lucida behind the lens every photo captures so much emotion and everlasting elegance.

Love,

Denise Elliott
