Its that time of the week again, Wedding Wednesday!
We are featuring C & C’s elegant Vancouver Club Wedding. This venue is by far one of our favourites due to the historic background and the timeless decor. It was no surprise that the planning for this day was executed perfectly by Ashley at Spread Love Events.
The photos by Christie Graham bring so much emotion from the day and could not be more stunning.
The florals made by Celsia brought a classic feminine vibe to the decor with soft pink hues amongst white and greenery. Talk about elegance!
Caroline and I had met about 5 years prior at her sisters wedding. While doing her makeup as a bridesmaid she said to me “I can’t wait when I get married and have you do my makeup for my wedding one day.” There I was, five years later beautifying Caroline for the biggest day of her life! This is truly why I love what I do.
The Bridal Look:
Since I had the pleasure of meeting Caroline prior to her consultation I had a clear idea of what the look would be for her big day.
It was important for Caroline to feel like herself. However, she was not afraid to amp up her eyes. I started the makeup with an illuminating primer to smooth the skin giving it a radiant finish. After, I applied my favourite foundation to even out the skin with a beauty blender.
Next, I used a light bronzer to buff warmer tones into the skin with a soft coral pink blush on the apples of her cheeks to enhance Caroline’s cheek bones.
For Caroline’s eyes, we put most focus on her lash line to really pop her beautiful blue eyes, using light beige tones on her eyelid to enhance her natural eye shape and a black gel liner to thicken her lash line. We then finished with a full set of mink lashes by lash lab and a nude lip!
