We’ve been a bit silent over the last few weeks as we are right in the middle of our busiest season. We are very excited about this post featuring R & S’s big day for Wedding Wednesday! These two had the weather on their side for their outdoor ceremony and reception this past July at Capilano Golf and Country Club.
With the amazing from Filosophi events, Renee & Stu’s vision for the perfect day came to life. We love the simplicity of crisp white florals and lush greenery arranged by Celsia Florist. Photos captured by the talented Samba Joy!
The Bridal Look:
We were lucky enough to beautify Renee and her ladies in our beauty studio! Renee’s bridal look was all about classic elegance, Old Hollywood curls and a polished, neutral makeup. My senior team members Emily (makeup artist) & Alicia (hair stylist) had the pleasure of getting these ladies wedding ready!
Complexion: We started with a hydrating primer from Paul & Joe and the Stila stay all day foundation for a flawless complexion. Next we lightly pressed the Glo Minerals powder to ensure a longwear coverage.
Cheek & Lip: After applying the Stila matte bronzer, we blended the Paul & Joe blush in shade 02 for a pop of colour. For a neutral, yet polished lip colour Renee’s personal favourite from Mac was applied. This was perfect for her touch ups through out the evening!
Eyes: To create a lash line focus, we used the nude eye colour primer from Paul & Joe in shade 02. Next, swept a light taupe shade from the Stila Soul palette through the outer corners and crease. To finish the look we used a bold black gel liner from Bobbi Brown with a soft wing and a full set of our Lash Lab Mink lashes.
The grounds at Capilano Golf and Country Club hold so much historic beauty in BC. The abundance of greenery within the mountains and stunning views of Downtown Vancouver make for the perfect backdrop!
